In the months leading up to my exam, I finished school, my husband defended his thesis, my whole family met up in Disney world (my husband and I live across the country from our families), and life brought us some momentous events as well as unpredicted circumstances in such a short amount of time. But regardless of these events, I made flashcards out of the materials in the LEAP LMSW preparation book, and I studied. I studied almost every day for 2 months straight. I even brought my flashcards with to Disney 🙂 And I am so glad I did, because the relentless studies paid off! I was extremely nervous for my exam, but I passed with 108 questions right and a 98 needed to pass. I am thankful for the LEAP exam preparations and practice tests (I also purchased the practice exam which also helped) as I know I never would have passed without them! I never thought I would make it through grad school, and I never thought I would have what it takes to pass the licensure exam. But I did it, and you can to! Never give up! And remember those who supported you along the way. Thank you to my parents Patsy and Tom (doing the best they can to support me from out of state), my husband J, and The University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign.
