Question: How long should I study for my ASWB SW licensing exam?

Answer: Study times will vary greatly depending on how long you have been out of school, as well as how well you perform in a testing environment and retain information, etc… We recommend that you focus on preparing for the exam and as you near study completion, you schedule your exam. It typically only about three weeks to get an appointment at a testing site. Most successful test-takers study daily for 2-3 months, approximately 1.25 hours per day.

The highest pass rates are among individuals who have the combination of the LEAP study guide, video, and strategy class. Those who had exam “A”, in addition, were at the top of the success chart. If you are on a budget, we suggest prioritizing the LEAP study guide and strategy class. It is important to read the guide at least twice. LEAP is the ONLY company that has an independent company tracking pass rates.
