I got the comprehensive study guide to study for the clinical exam to get my LCSW. The practice test in the back of the book was very helpful. Most of the book talked about theories and diagnoses and types of therapy, and almost none of it applied to the test. Buying practice tests would be the most helpful thing to do to study for the clinical exam. The material in the book is not helpful though and irrelevant to the test. I wish I didn’t spend so much time reading the book.
